Abertay University in Dundee (Scotland) is offering a fully funded PhD studentship titled “Trauma and Technology: Identifying Best Practice for Video-Recorded Interviews (VRIs) with Victims of Sexual Crimes” (start date October 2025, application deadline 28 May 2025; read more from here).

Co-Chairs of the Steering Committee of Experts for the “Principles on Effective Interviewing for Investigations and Information Gathering” presented a statement in order to take stock of the Principles, four years after their launch and to encourage others to do likewise.
